At The Cabin’s state-of-the-art rehab centre in Chiang Mai, our inpatient treatment method has gained the highest respect among the global medical community. Our unique principle treatment is Changing Pathways combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), our own modernised and secular version of the 12 Steps as well as Mindfulness Meditation, with an additional focus on physical fitness.

Our addiction treatment programme includes group therapy, as well as counselling sessions, complemented by physical and mental health activities. Each day’s schedule will keep you busy doing fun and interesting activities built around your counselling sessions, which will help keep your mind active and avoid too much time focusing on your cravings and addiction.
Activities that complement your group and individual counselling sessions include swimming, yoga, personal training, combat lessons, mindfulness meditation, art and drama therapies and much more.
In addition to this, each week our clients will have the opportunity to explore the local area with one of our Sunday excursions. These Sunday excursions are a lot of fun and can include offsite activities such as zip-lining, bathing an elephant, bamboo rafting, Thai cooking or visiting local markets and handicrafts centres.
The process of drug detoxification (detox) is not required by everyone. Upon arrival at The Cabin, clients will be fully assessed by our medical team to determine whether or not a medically supervised detox programme is required.
